About this site
This shallow sandy slope in Puducherry is famous for its garden of garden eels swaying in the current. Ideal for beginners, visibility varies with the season. Expect gentle drifts and occasional reef fish among the eel colonies. The sandy bottom makes navigation easy, while the eels retreat into their burrows as divers approach. Best dived at slack tide to avoid strong currents.
