About this site
Dapa Channel sits off the town of Dapa on Siargao Island, in the Mindanao region of the Philippines, where the island faces the channel waters used by ferries running to Surigao. Siargao's east and south coasts are known more broadly for surf breaks and reef-lined shores, with Dapa serving as the main port town for boat traffic in and out of the island. The dive here reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is generally rated intermediate. Divers have also reported manta rays passing through the channel.
