About this site
Daquit Shoal lies off the coast of Siquijor Island, in the Visayas region of the central Philippines, an area bordered by the Bohol and Mindanao Seas. Shoals along this part of Siquijor are typically reached by short boat rides from the island's coastal barangays. The site is a reef dive to a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported damselfish and wrasse here, along with currents that can run strong at times.
