Dauin South

Dauin South lies along the coast of Negros Oriental in the Philippines, part of the muck diving stretch that runs south from Dauin town toward Dumaguete and the Apo Island channel. The site sits over a reef bottom, reaching a maximum depth of around 20 metres, and is considered a beginner dive, though the entry and exit can involve navigating rocky ground. Garden eels and nudibranchs are a regular sight here, and divers have also reported clownfish, frogfish, grouper, mantis shrimp, ornate ghost pipefish, and pipefish, in keeping with the muck-diving character of this stretch of coast.
