About this site
Devil's Claw is a reef site off San Salvador Island in the Bahamas, an isolated island rising from deep offshore banks well beyond the shallow shelf waters that fringe most of the archipelago. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30.5 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have also reported the occasional mola mola, or ocean sunfish, passing through.
