About this site
Dhe Gaa Thila is a thila, a submerged reef pinnacle, in Baa Atoll on the western side of the Maldivian archipelago. Baa Atoll is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve known for its channels and reef formations that draw boat traffic from resorts and liveaboards throughout the atoll. Divers have also reported manta rays passing over the pinnacle here, adding to the draw of this stretch of reef.
