About this site
Dhigurah Thila lies in Noonu Atoll, in the northern Maldives, near the island of Dhigurah after which it is named. Thilas in this part of the Maldives are typically submerged reef formations rising from the atoll floor, reached by dhoni or dive boat from the local islands and resorts. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Noonu Atoll sees far less dive traffic than the central atolls, with sites accessed mainly through the small number of resorts and guesthouses in the area.
