About this site
Dibba Rock sits just off Dibba on the Fujairah coast of the United Arab Emirates, where the country's east coast meets the Gulf of Oman. It is a popular shore and boat dive site made up of a rocky outcrop breaking the surface with a reef spreading around its base. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 16 metres, is rated a beginner dive, and generally offers good visibility over its reef bottom, which makes it a favourite for training dives and relaxed exploration alike. Angelfish, nudibranchs, and parrotfish are regularly seen around the rock, and divers have also reported barracuda, clownfish, cuttlefish, fusiliers, reef sharks, sea turtles, snapper, squid, and even whale sharks passing through.
