Diyamba Kupatha is a wide rocky reef system near Unawatuna in Sri Lanka, spanning nearly a kilometre and reached by a boat ride of about 20 minutes from the dive centre. Depths run from 25 to 30 metres, and the site is graded advanced.
Black and red corals grow across the rock, alongside anemones, with moray eels and trevally among the residents. Dolphins and whale sharks are sometimes spotted here, especially in February. Currents can be strong, visibility is great, and the bottom is rock.
