Dolphin Bay lies on the Red Sea coast near Nuweiba, on the Gulf of Aqaba side of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. The area is known for sandy shallows and is a common stop for boat trips out of the nearby town, along a stretch of coastline that faces the Saudi Arabian shore across the gulf.
