About this site
Dong Shanhu Wan (东珊瑚湾) is a reef site south-west of Dadonghai, Sanya, in 2–15 m. Large boulders and coral reef cover the first 10 m, then a short drop of about 5 m leads to sand; current is light. Dense coral with nudibranchs, urchins, crown-of-thorns starfish and reef fish; suitable from Open Water level.
