About this site
Doonbristy is a sea stack off Downpatrick Head on the north Mayo coast, in the Irish region of Connacht. This stretch of shoreline faces the open Atlantic and is better known for its dramatic cliffs and rock formations than as a documented dive destination. Divers here have reported Atlantic beadlet anemones on the surrounding rock, and common bottlenose dolphins have also been spotted passing through the area.
