About this site

Dorla El Fanus East lies along the coastline of Qesm Hurghada in Egypt's Red Sea Governorate, an area served by boat traffic out of Hurghada's harbor, over a fringing reef bottom typical of this stretch of coast. It is a beginner dive reaching a maximum depth of around 14 metres. Surgeonfish are a regular sight on the reef, and divers have also reported barracuda, eagle rays, frogfish, lionfish, mackerel, octopus, parrotfish, snapper, squid, stonefish, triggerfish, and unicornfish here.
