About this site
A sunken Douglas DC3 aircraft rests at 30 meters near Kas, offering an exciting artificial reef dive. The wreck sits upright on a sandy slope, encrusted with colorful marine life. Schools of barracuda and groupers often circle the plane, while moray eels hide in its crevices. Visibility is typically excellent, with mild currents. The shallow cockpit and open cargo door allow easy penetration for trained divers. Nearby rocky outcrops host octopus and nudibranchs. Suitable for intermediate divers, this unique site combines history with thriving marine biodiversity.
