Drifting Spot lies off the southeastern Florida coast, in the waters near Palm Beach County, based on its coordinates. It reaches a maximum depth of about 24.4 metres and is generally considered an intermediate dive. Divers have reported Atlantic sergeant majors, French grunts, grey angelfish, and porkfish around the site, along with yellow stingrays, red cushion sea stars, seaweed blennies, and yellowline arrow crabs on the bottom.
