About this site
Dscr Middle sits offshore of Islandia in the upper Florida Keys, part of the reef tract running parallel to the island chain between Key Largo and Biscayne Bay, generally reached by a short boat run from marinas along the Overseas Highway. It is a wreck site with a maximum depth of around 35.7 metres, rated advanced. Its proximity to the Gulf Stream has been linked to strong current here, so conditions can be demanding. Divers have also reported barracuda, eagle rays, and grouper around the site.
