About this site
Dynte Strand lies on the Danish coast near the mouth of the Little Belt, on the eastern side of the Jutland peninsula close to the island of Als. This stretch of water is part of the strait separating Jutland from Funen, an area shaped by strong tidal exchange between the Baltic and the Kattegat. The shoreline here is typical of the Little Belt's coastal beaches, backed by low farmland and dunes. The dive reaches a maximum depth of around 25 metres and is rated intermediate. Divers have reported nudibranchs at the site, and some have noted a free ascent risk at depth along with the possibility of strong current lower down, worth keeping in mind when planning the dive.
