Eagle Reef sits off Santa Catalina Island, part of the Channel Islands chain off the coast of Southern California. Dive sites along this stretch of the island are typically reached by boat from harbors such as Avalon or Two Harbors. The reef bottom here reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have also reported nudibranchs on the reef.
