About this site
El Corito lies along Colombia's Caribbean coast near the Guajira/Magdalena stretch around Santa Marta and Tayrona, an area of rocky headlands and coral patches fringing the northern coastline. It is a reef site, typically reached by short boat runs from Taganga or nearby Santa Marta. Divers have also reported sea turtles here.
