About this site
El Gat is a rocky reef dive on the Cap de Creus coast of Catalonia, and it appears in the natural park's local underwater itineraries. The name means the cat.
Like the nearby Bau de la Ferrera, it is a reef lying off the coast rather than a cove or cliff you can see from the boat, so there may be no shoreline beside you as a reference on the descent. Buoyancy, group position and a clear descent plan matter more than usual.
