About this site
El Kaf lies along the Red Sea coast in the Qoseir area of Egypt's Red Sea Governorate, south of Marsa Alam, on a reef typically reached by boat from towns in the area. It is a beginner dive to a maximum depth of around 16 metres. Divers have reported grouper, mackerel, Napoleon wrasse, parrotfish, stingrays, and stonefish on the reef.
