El Oasis lies off Isla de la Juventud, Cuba's second-largest island, in the Caribbean waters south of the Cuban mainland near the Yucatan Channel. The site is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres. Its position places it in an offshore stretch of water rather than close to a major dive town, typical of the diving found around this island.
