About this site
El Poris is a small coastal site near the village of Poris de Abona on Tenerife's southern flank in the Canary Islands. The shoreline here is volcanic in origin, giving way underwater to a rocky bottom typical of the island's Atlantic coast, with a maximum depth of around 18 metres and a beginner rating. Barracuda and octopus are common finds among the rocks, and divers have also reported flying gurnard, nudibranchs, and the occasional sea turtle at the site.
