This freshwater reservoir in Mendoza offers surprisingly clear visibility and unique submerged structures, including old roads and bridges. Divers explore depths up to 30 meters with occasional thermoclines. Schools of pejerrey fish dart through the water, while submerged trees create interesting swim-throughs. The cool mountain water stays between 10-20°C, requiring proper thermal protection. Ideal for training dives and underwater photography with its unusual mix of artificial and natural features.
