About this site
Embarcadero del Hornillo is a former iron-loading pier site on the coast of Murcia, near Aguilas in southeastern Spain along the Mediterranean. The old ore-loading structure once served mining activity in the region, and its remains extend into the water near the shoreline. Diving here reaches a maximum depth of around 10 metres and is rated an intermediate site, making it a fairly shallow dive around the submerged pier remains.
