About this site
Emerald Cave sits along the coastline of the Metropolitan City of Naples in Campania, a stretch of the Tyrrhenian coast known for its volcanic rock formations and sea caves. The area around the Bay of Naples and the Phlegraean coast includes numerous inlets and grottoes cut into the tufa cliffs. Divers have also reported an orca sighting at this site, though that would be an unusual encounter for these waters.
