About this site
The Emergence du Ressel is a freshwater cave system in the Lot department of Occitanie, near Marcilhac-sur-Célé, where the underground flow resurfaces along the Célé river valley. It is one of the well-known cave diving sites in the Lot region, historically explored and developed by French cave divers over several decades. The system runs through a series of galleries with lines already in place for trained cave divers to follow.
