About this site
Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park spans a chain of small islands in the Bahamian Exumas, roughly between Highbourne Cay and Bell Island in the Caribbean Sea's western reach into the Bahama Banks. It was established in 1958 as one of the first no-take marine reserves in the region, protecting reef, seagrass, and mangrove habitat along the cays. Access is generally by boat from Nassau or from marinas within the Exumas themselves.
