About this site
This schooner was carrying a cargo of iron ore when she grounded off Grand Island's Sand Point. She was salvaged the next year, with her gear and part of her cargo being recovered, but the remainder lies scattered in the shallows. Lies in about 4.6 m; sank 1874.
