About this site
Fastnet Rock sits off the southwest tip of Ireland, beyond Cape Clear Island at the southern edge of County Cork, and is best known above water for its lighthouse marking the country's most southerly point. Diving around the rock reaches a maximum depth of about 16 metres and is generally rated an intermediate site, with the exposed Atlantic setting giving the surrounding water its character.
