About this site
Fish Bowl sits near Nyirih Island within the Tenggol Island group off Terengganu in Peninsular Malaysia, reached by boat from the mainland fishing town of Kuala Dungun in the South China Sea. Like other sites in this island group, it features granite boulder formations and reef patches scattered along the coastline. Divers here have reported a varied mix of small reef life, including Clark's and ocellaris anemonefish, redbreast Maori wrasse, small giant clams, tiger cowries, pillow cushion stars, blue dragon nudibranchs, varicose wart slugs, and long-spined crown-of-thorns starfish.
