About this site
Fisherman's Bay lies off Hon Thom, an island south of Phu Quoc in Kien Giang province at the southern end of Vietnam. This stretch of the Gulf of Thailand is dotted with small islands and fishing settlements, and dive sites here are typically reached by boat from Phu Quoc or An Thoi. The reef here tops out at a shallow maximum of around 5 metres, making it a beginner dive. Divers have reported grouper, nudibranchs, parrotfish, snapper, and wrasse over the reef.
