About this site
This freshwater wreck dive in Lake Huron features a submerged ghost town with intact buildings, streets, and machinery. The cold, clear water offers excellent visibility to explore the eerie remains of a 19th-century logging community. Schools of lake trout and whitefish hover around the structures, while zebra mussels coat the wooden beams. Depths range from shallow to 60 feet, making it accessible for most divers. The site provides a unique blend of history and marine life, best visited in summer when water temperatures are milder. Strong currents can occur, so check conditions before diving.
