About this site
Front Porch lies along Turneffe Atoll, a large coral atoll off the coast of Belize in the western Caribbean, within Belize District waters that are part of the Belize Barrier Reef system. Turneffe's sites are typically reached by boat from Belize City or from lodges based on the atoll itself, with the reef dropping off into deeper water along the atoll's edges. This particular site is a beginner dive reaching a maximum depth of around 12.2 metres, making it an easy, shallow reef dive. Divers have reported angelfish, damselfish, grouper, octopus, and parrotfish here.
