About this site
Ft Pierce Fish Haven sits off Fort Pierce on Florida's Atlantic coast, an artificial site placed to build up structure on an otherwise open seabed. It reaches a maximum depth of around 10 metres, making it a shallow dive relative to many other Florida artificial reefs. As with most fish haven sites, the material used to create it typically attracts reef fish and encrusting growth over time, drawing in life that would otherwise have nowhere to settle on the sandy bottom nearby.
