About this site
Furesø is a lake north of Copenhagen in the Hovedstaden region of Denmark, bordering municipalities such as Furesø, Lyngby-Taarbæk, and Rudersdal. It is one of the deepest lakes in Denmark, formed by glacial activity at the end of the last Ice Age, and is fed and drained by streams connecting it to nearby lakes in the Copenhagen lake chain.
