About this site
Futago no Arch (双子のアーチ) is a boat-dive reef off Okinoerabu Island in Kagoshima Prefecture, about 5 minutes from harbour, with a maximum depth of 30 m and an average around 10 m. Two arches sit joined together, one of which can be entered through a side opening and exited vertically; hawkfish anthias and dogtooth tuna are seen here. Current varies greatly with the tide; suitable from beginner level.
