About this site
Gadhoo Channel is a channel dive in Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, in the southern Maldives, well south of the more heavily dived central atolls like Kaafu. Channels of this kind cut through the atoll rim between the ocean and the inner lagoon and are typically reached by dhoni or liveaboard from nearby island resorts and settlements. Divers have also reported reef sharks moving through the channel here.
