About this site
Gialiskari Reef sits off Corfu's coast in the Ionian Sea, offering a vibrant underwater landscape. The reef slopes gently to 25 meters, with rocky outcrops and sandy patches. Schools of damselfish, groupers, and octopuses thrive here. Clear waters provide excellent visibility, often exceeding 20 meters. The site suits all skill levels, with mild currents and warm temperatures from spring to autumn. Sponges and colorful algae cover the rocks, creating a lively backdrop. Night dives reveal moray eels and crustaceans. Easy shore access makes it convenient for divers.
