Gilimanuk

Gilimanuk sits at the northwestern tip of Bali, near the strait separating the island from Java, at the western end of the road that runs along Bali's north coast, close to Menjangan Island and Bali Barat National Park. The dive here is a shallow one over sand, reaching a maximum depth of around 8.4 metres, with light current and good visibility that make it a beginner site. It is well suited to macro diving, with nudibranchs, pipefish, pufferfish, and scorpionfish regularly found on the sand. Divers have also reported batfish, frogfish, mimic octopus, seahorses, and even hammerhead sharks here, along with sea snakes, so it pays to watch where you put your hands on the bottom.
