About this site
Sazan Island sits at the mouth of the Bay of Vlore, off the southwestern coast of Albania where the Adriatic meets the Ionian Sea. Gjiri i Djallit, meaning Devil's Bay, is a cove along the island's rocky, cliff-lined shore, an island that was a closed military zone for decades and has only recently opened to visitors and divers.
