About this site
GMC Reef sits off Mesaieed, an industrial port town on Qatar's east coast south of Doha, in the Gulf waters reached by boat from the local harbor. It is a shallow site with a maximum depth of around 6 metres, making it a straightforward beginner dive rather than the artificial structures found elsewhere in the area. Divers have also reported batfish around the reef here.
