About this site

Gorgonie Rosse lies along the Cilento coast near Marina di Camerota, in the province of Salerno, where limestone headlands drop steeply into the Tyrrhenian Sea. The site takes its name from the red gorgonian sea fans that colonise the rocky walls typical of this stretch of coast. It reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres, following the submerged cliff topography that characterises diving in this part of Campania.
