About this site
Gotha Eschta lies off Marsa Alam, along Egypt's southern Red Sea coast in the Red Sea Governorate south of Hurghada and Quseer. This stretch of coastline is fringed by reef systems typically reached by boat from local dive centers or resorts along the shore. The site has a maximum depth of around 14 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers here have reported Arabian Picasso triggerfish, freckled hawkfish, Indian bullethead parrotfish, Indian sailfin tang, masked puffer, regal angelfish, and swarthy parrotfish along the reef.
