About this site
Green Valley lies along the coast near Heraklion in the Dimos Maleviziou area of northern Crete, on the island's Aegean-facing shore, within reach of Heraklion's coastal dive operations that run boat and shore trips along this stretch. The reef site reaches a maximum depth of around 15 metres, making it a shallow dive. Divers have also reported a silty bottom in parts of the site.
