About this site
Gros Piton Point sits off the southwestern coast of Saint Lucia, near the town of Soufrière, in the waters below the Gros Piton peak within the Pitons Marine Managed Area. The coastline here drops steeply from the volcanic slopes into the Caribbean Sea, a landscape shaped by the island's volcanic origins, and the reef below follows that same steep terrain underwater. Divers have also reported wrasse around the site.
