About this site
Grotta dei Gamberi is a shallow rocky dive site near Taormina, Sicily, located within the Parco Marino dell'Isola Bella, in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The site is paired with the Colonne Greche (Greek Columns) and reaches a maximum depth of 2 metres over a rocky bottom, making it equally suited to snorkelling and very shallow diving.
The marine life at the site includes donzelle (rainbow wrasse), castagnole (damselfish), pesci pappagallo (parrotfish), and barracuda.
