About this site
Grotta del Ciolo lies on the Ionian coast of the Salento peninsula, near Castrignano del Capo at the southern tip of Puglia. The site takes its name from the cliffside inlet and cave of the same name, a well known cliff diving and swimming spot cut into the limestone shoreline of this part of the Province of Lecce.
