About this site
Grotta di Cala Rotonda sits along the rocky coastline of Favignana Island, the largest of the Egadi Islands off the northwest coast of Sicily, in the province of Trapani. This stretch of shore is known for its limestone quarries and grottoes carved into the rock, and this cave site is one of them. It reaches a maximum depth of around 8 metres over a cave bottom and is rated a beginner dive.
