Guaraguao I sits along the southern Caribbean coast of the Dominican Republic, near Bayahibe in La Altagracia province, an area known for boat access to reef and wreck diving. The coordinates place it in the waters off the country's southeastern shore, within reach of the small fishing town that has grown into a diving hub for that stretch of coastline.
